Tokinoka Blended whisky is produced at Eigoshima Distillery (White Oak) This distillery is potentially Japan’s oldest licensed distillery (founded in 1919) located in Hyogo, just west of Kobe.
Tasting Notes
From the distillery: On the nose, caramel, cake, baked apples, cinnamon. On the palate, light bodied, textured, gritty wood. Cinnamon and nutmeg.
Method
A blended whiskey. Typically blended whiskeys include a range of ages and mash bills to create a well balanced final product. All products listed as Japanese whiskey must be distilled and aged in Japan for a minimum of three years with water sourced from Japan. Bottled at 40%.
