Tasting Notes
Complexvibrantwhite wine
The Tatamagouche Brewing Company (commonly referred to as “Tata”) is a family owned and operated craft brewery located in the heart of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. In 2014, the family converted an old butcher shop into a brewery, and have since added several additions to the sides and back of the building to help accommodate their growth. Tata Brew is one of only a handful of Certified Organic breweries in Nova Scotia, and their beers have won awards provincially as well as nationally.
Tasting Notes
With vibrant notes of peach, citrus and light spice that are balacned by the white wine character of the Sauvignon Blanc wine barrels, this Saison is light, ultra refreshing and with an effervescent mouthfeel.
Method
Ersa Sauvignon Blanc Barrel Aged Saison was brewed to be crisp and complex. Loaded with Maritime-grown malt and hops, then aged in Sauvignon Blanc barrels for eight months where it picked up subtle wine character, vanilla, and juicy aromatics as the brett yeast worked its magic with the hops.
